It's a joke because you will most likely get it damaged again and spending another 12 servitors on a 25 day cooldown is no option at alll. The only thing I do not like about it is the waste of servitors and the time it takes to repair. You should give it a try.īackt to WH40k: I use the Dreadnought with the large PSI-Bolter and the option to deactivate Psi and with spending WP also Long Range weapons is very usefull. The Spark in XCOM/XCOM2 is incredibly strong. The devs just took the laziest approach possible and just went 'nah.' I mean, the dreadnought would wreck shop on normal missions, so I get that there'd need to be balancing. Not like I ever took the Spark either haha Make it take more resources, more time to repair.anything thats not a detriment to using it, like having one less marine to play. They didnt balance the spark robot in xcom like this, for a reason. I wouldnt bring it too.Ģ slots means you have less AP, movement, variation of skills.worse gameplay. Dreadnought will not be available for the duration of the repair and if it is damaged only slightly in the next mission after being repaired it will again take 25 days and 12 servitors to do another - completely pointless - repair.Īs i recommended before: DO NOT REPAIR THE DREADNOUGHT in the current state. 27th: Just for testing did repair the Dreadnought and to no surprise the system works as suspected. Make it take 25 days to do so and keep the cost of 12 Servitors. But you have to build a Dreadnought Repair Bay first. Remove repairs completely and let the Dreadnought "heal" at the same rate all other Knights do. I would recommend to changing the system the following way: It's just another useless (like the one for dead/critically injured Knights) blackhole for sinking resources in, that can better be used on other things.Įdit: It's 25 days. The repair system needs to be addressed and fixed. With my Dreadnought currently having 32 HP and 7 armor I do not really care about the option at all and when the mission is of higher (4+) difficulty bringing a Techmarine does the job, too. Why would you do that? Not repairing it will reduce HP by 8 and armor by 2. Repairing would - never did repair it a single time - take ages (24 day if I remember correctly) and uses 12 servitors.
